Spice of Spain

I took this photo in the beautiful city of Granada in Spain. There was a little market outside the cathedral selling spices and herbs. I loved the vivid orange and bright reds!

Later that day I visited the Alhambra. It is a palace crammed full of stunning Islamic artwork, bubbling water fountains and landscaped gardens. From the top of the hill there is an amazing panoramic view of the city and there are cool shady spots to rest at on your way up (it is a very huge palace). Unfortunately, as I visited the palace at midday, the sun was at it's brightest and bleached some of the lighter colours out of my photo. But, I still think the building itself is beautiful in any light. Here are some more photos of my day in Granada:
