As well as being interested in photography, I also love film and drama. Recently, I have been watching a TV series on ITV in the UK, called Downton Abbey. It is set in the early 20th century and has a similar feel to programs such as Upstairs, Downstairs and The Forsyte Saga. What really caught my eye about it was the beautiful cinematography. The use of light, positioning and colour is fabulous and really communicates emotion to the viewer.
So you can understand what I am going on about, here is the advert used on TV to promote the program. Unfortunately, the first series has now finished, but a new one will be on soon so keep your eyes peeled! Enjoy...
It is great to see something of this quality finally come out of ITV!
